  1. Here is something you might be interested in.. http://www.medicalspeakinenglish.com You can ask medical questions and get answers from a real doctor. I’ve done it several times, and on tus or wed nights.. there’s a chronic pain group yo can chat live with others and the doctor is on at the same time and answers questions. he’s legitimate, and the most caring doctor I know, besides my own.

This might be of interest to you or some of your readers: I have a yoga student who for months I was modifying regular postures for in my classes as she was unable to bend her left knee at all. The joint was causing her so much pain, and basically she was just living with it and modifying her life to it. I hadn’t seen her in a few months until Saturday when she turned up and was able to maintain a practice as regular as everyone else in the group. I was amazed and asked her afterwards if she had had surgery or if physio had finally helped her. She is Spanish and her English isn’t great so I didn’t get all of what she explained about how she’d come across this.. but she was finally advised on line to take Condrosamin Sulphate (a now synthetic version of what used to be made of shark cartilage??). She has been taking 500 mg capsules.. 2x per day. She says you do this for 4 – 6 months and then take a one month break. I think you then start to take it again.. but unfortunately language was a bit of an issue and I was racing to my next class. All I can say is that I was AMAZED by the change in her, and she spoke about having a life back, pain-free, that she thought she’d never have again. Perhaps this is something you already know about, but if it isn’t it might be worth looking into. This lovely girls whole face was lit up in a way I’d not seen in her before and it was wonderful to see. I hope this info might help someone. E

That’s a beautiful image to think of her face no longer pinched with pain. I think of that all the time ~ how I want to get better and go back to my doctor/acupuncturist and say, “This is what I look like when I am pain-free and happy!”
I wonder if she meant Chondroitin Sulfate? Was it the language barrier? My Mum takes glucosamine and chondroitin for her joints. I give Chondroitin Sulfate to the dogs for their arthritic bits… I googled “Condrosamin Sulphate” and found this formula with glucosamine & chondroitin and a bunch of other stuff: https://www.dcnutrition.com/products/Detail.CFM?RecordNumber=400
I will definitely look for the synthetic version and consider taking it. Thanks, E! xoxo

You are so clever! Interesting how many adjective pairs come to mind but also, nouns / names. Remember Pete & Repeat and Ger & Bill?
