BJ, I’m in Seattle. I hate snow! We had a bizarrely warm April and my husband is a landscaper. Pretty incredible time of year. I hour spring springs for you soon! 🙂
You live in the Pacific Northwest, right? I live over the border in Vancouver. Spring in this part of the world is truly a wonder, isn’t it? ( I just realized that if I’d said that aloud I would have ended it with an ‘Eh?’ I’m so Canadian!)
I LIVED IN VANCOUVER–THE GREENERY & FLOWERS WERE SO AWESOME! TREES R HUGE. WE TOOK A TRIP DOWN THE COAST & WENT THRU THE CASCADES–JUST LOVED IT. I LIVE IN CENTRAL AB. SO WE DON’T EVEN PLANT UNTIL NEAR END OF MAY THEN WE HOPE THE FROST STAYS AWAY AT LEAST UNTIL THE END OF OCT!!! BUT THIS AREA IS ALSO VERY BEAUTIFUL.
[…] garden is like the world’s slowest fireworks show. Gone are the lilacs, cherry blossoms and tulips. As they wilt and brown, now emerge lilies, irises, peonies and my favourite: the pom-pom […]
Such colour, so much to see. You really are very lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful beauty!

So much beauty! My front yard looks pretty good but the back is still covered in dead leaves. Your dog is beautiful too!
